Enquiries and requests
When you submit a request for lessons or translation, we receive the contact details you provide and the information needed to consider your request. If you attach a photograph of a document, it is used to assess the translation request.
Requests are delivered to the owner’s email inbox. They are processed to respond to your enquiry and agree on the service. Requests and attached documents are deleted from the working mailbox within 30 days after the enquiry has been dealt with. Separate retention periods required by law may apply to confirmed orders.
Do not send data or documents that are not needed to consider your request.
Reviews
When you submit a review, we receive your name, email address, review text and an optional photograph. With your consent, your name, text and photograph are published on the website after moderation. Your email address is not published.
The review text may be sent to DeepL for translation into the other languages of the website. Your email address and photograph are not sent separately to DeepL.
A published review is retained while it is used on the website or until you withdraw your consent, unless there is another lawful basis for retention. Unpublished reviews are deleted within 30 days after their assessment is completed.
Services and data protection
The owner of Languagezonelt handles the data. Hosting and email providers and DeepL are used to operate the website, deliver messages and translate reviews, to the extent necessary for each task.
The website remembers your selected language and uses technical measures to operate securely. Advertising tracking systems are not used in the current version. After deletion, some data may temporarily remain in protected backups until their scheduled replacement.
Your rights
Where provided for by law, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw your consent to publication of your review and photograph at any time.
Please send requests to info@languagezone.lt. We normally respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate — VDAI.
